Lavada E. Mueller, 100, of Evansville, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017. She was a resident of Pine Haven Nursing Home. She was born July 29, 1916, in Lyon County, Kentucky.

During WWII she worked at Servel and Briggs. Lavada was a proud Rosie the Riveter. She retired from Mead Johnson's after 35 years.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Woodrow Scillian, Harold Krack, and Ted Mueller; five siblings; and parents, Hubert and Mary Smith.

Lavada is survived by her son, Col. (retired) Bill Scillian (Betti); daughters, Laverne Martin and Judy Snodgrass (Gary); five grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; brother Kelsie Smith; and sister Dorothy O'Bryan.

Funeral Services will be held 4:00 PM Monday, May 15, 2017, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Chaplain Tom Hubachek. Friends may visit Monday from 2:00 until service time at the funeral home. Private burial will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
